The Ryoba is a classic version of the Japanese handsaw and a versatile tool for precise woodworking. Thanks to its double-sided toothing and the narrow, flexible saw blade, the Ryoba is particularly popular for furniture making, carpentry work and DIY. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Features of the Ryoba<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Two-sided saw blade:<\/strong>
One side of the saw blade of a Ryoba is optimized for longitudinal cuts (parallel to the grain direction), the other for cross cuts (against the grain direction). This duality enables precise and efficient work in different wood directions. <\/p>\n

Different tooth geometries:
<\/strong>The Ryoba has one side with fine, three-sided ground tension teeth for precise cuts in hardwood or plywood. The other side is equipped with coarser teeth for fast cuts in softwood. <\/p>\n

Deep, flush cuts:<\/strong>
Our high-quality Ryoba Japanese saws have a thin but sturdy blade made of hardened steel. The backless, flexible design enables flush cuts and deep cutting depths. <\/p>\n

Easy handling:<\/strong>
Ryobas are handy and particularly light. The long handle is made of wrapped wood or plastic. Thanks to the pulling technique used when sawing, less force is required and more precise cuts are possible than with classic western hand saws. <\/p>\n

Various models:
<\/strong>In our saw shop<\/a><\/em> we offer short and long ryobas with a bast or comfort grip. Mini ryobas with a blade length of 150 mm are ideal for fine work and small workpieces. Ryobas with a blade length of 250 mm are ideal for general applications and particularly deep cuts. Using the Ryoba Japanese saw<\/h3>\n

The Ryoba saw works on pull, which means that the cut is made when the saw is pulled towards the body. This keeps the blade thin and ensures a clean, tear-free cut. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Fixing the workpiece<\/strong>
The wood should be securely clamped or well fixed.<\/p>\n

Position the saw and start gently<\/strong>
Select the appropriate side of the saw depending on the desired cut. The first few strokes should be careful to ensure a precise cut. <\/p>\n

Smooth, fine sawing<\/strong>
